An extraordinary home in an extraordinary location. Born Picasso is a completely renovated flat located in the medieval heart of Barcelona, characterised by its pedestrianised alleyways and lift-free buildings, as in this case.

It has everything you need: a small living room with sofa and television, lit by a large window overlooking the street. The kitchen is open to the living room and is fully equipped with a bar and stools to enjoy breakfast or meals. Two bedrooms, both with double bed and large wardrobes; one of the bedrooms has a large window overlooking the street. And the bathroom, with a large shower and good storage space. The flat also has a small space that serves as a study that allows you to isolate yourself for work or study, if you need to.

The flat is located very close to the Picasso Museum, hence the name we have given it. Pablo Picasso, despite being from Malaga, had a strong connection with Barcelona as he lived 9 years of his youth here, in the Born district. The museum currently occupies five Catalan Gothic palaces and contains more than 4,000 works by the painter, many donated by the artist and his widow, and by his former secretary, the driving force behind the project. Although there are currently more museums in the world with works by Picasso, this was the first and only one founded during the artist's lifetime, in 1936.

It is clear that if Picasso chose this neighbourhood to live in, it was for a reason. Despite its medieval origins, today it is one of the most cosmopolitan and multicultural areas of the city. Here you have everything. Restaurants that give a modern twist to traditional tapas (Can Cisa/Bar Brutal), designer shops (Montse Liarte Atelier), yoga centres (YogaOneBorn), classic patisseries (Brunells) and modern ones (Hofman with the best croissants, or Jon Cake, with the most original cheesecakes) and the renovated Mercat de Santa Caterina for morning shopping at one of its specialised stalls.

There are also plenty of museums to choose from: Museu de la Xocolata, Museu Moco (modern art), Centre Cultural del Born (excavation with the remains of the neighbourhood's history)... And, of course, the Picasso Museum, for which we recommend you buy your tickets in advance.

And don't forget to stroll along the Passeig del Born or go up to the terraces of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar to contemplate the privileged views they offer of this dream city.

Everything is ready to welcome you. So is your apartment. So when are you coming?

House rules

Welcome to Barcelona! We are delighted to have you with us and hope you have an amazing time at our apartment. To make sure your trip goes smoothly, here are some basic ground rules that we kindly ask you to follow.

Please take the neighbours into consideration

We would appreciate it if you could keep any noise to a minimum after 10pm (so no parties or loud music, please) and to avoid letting doors slam shut or making too much noise when
entering and leaving the building. Your holiday is important to us, but so is the well-being of your neighbours, who still need to go about their everyday lives in peace and tranquility. Any guests who cause a disturbance by hosting a party or such like will be asked to leave the apartment immediately (no refund will be made in such circumstances). Please also be aware that you are not allowed to have more guests staying at the apartment than indicated in your reservation.

Keys and check-out

Please do not leave the keys in the mailbox when vacating the apartment. If you leave earlier than your check-out time, please leave the keys on the table and pull the door shut behind you.
The doors to most of our apartments do not need to be locked when you leave, which makes it very easy for you to lock yourself out. To avoid this, make sure you keep the key with you
whenever you leave the apartment and lock the door yourself.

No smoking!

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. If you have to smoke, please go outside.

Save energy

We kindly ask you to please turn the lights and air conditioning units OFF whenever you leave the apartment.

One last request

On your last day, please wash the dishes and take out the garbage. Thank you!
