Casa Samuel is located in the small and quiet village of Las Vegas, belonging to the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in the south of the island of Tenerife.This village was the first population centre of Abona due to the great wealth it had in water, because it was full of crops, water cisterns, washing places, canals...Now most of these crops are full of natural vegetation.The flora is completely autochthonous, with Canary Island pines that start at this altitude, figs, wild vegetation in the ravine... There are also numerous cave-houses in the area, a typical construction in the south of Tenerife due to its geological nature.Nowadays, Las Vegas is home to about twenty residents who live together with tourists staying in the rural houses.Many of the old houses are now restored as rural houses and welcome these nature lovers who are looking for peace and quiet.

From this point, from Las Vegas, a circular circuit starts: Las Vegas-Molino-Las Vegas of 8 kms distance.With this trail you still discover what an authentic Canarian midland village was like and how they lived in the rural areas: you can see goats grazing, hear the cock crowing and see an authentic water mill that was used to grind grain or the old ovens that were used to dry fruit (such as figs) or to make bread and sweets.El Médano and Los Abrigos, only 20 minutes from Las Vegas, are old fishing villages with the best natural beaches on the island and offer both the possibility of practising water sports and tasting a variety of the island's gastronomic offer.Ideal house to enjoy the sea and the mountains.
