The Johanneskirchen neighborhood is a green, quiet and well connected to all lively areas of Munich. It's part of the large Munich Bogenhausen area and it developed to a very family friendly location.It is close to both, the city and the airport, and it offers a number of parks and green areas nearby. In addition, the Feringer See (Lake) is in a walking distance, where you can enjoy nicely the summer days.Several supermarkets, stores and restaurants can be found around. A nice beer garden (biergarten) is in 3 min walk.The location of the apartment is great - only 2 minutes walking distance to the Munich S-Bahn S8. It offers quick and excellent connection to both the city and Munich Airport. The S8 brings you directly in 15 minutes to the city center (Marienplatz) and directly in 20 Minutes to the Airport.You don't need a taxi from the center since S8 travels 24 hours.In addition there are other public transportation options nearby.Also car-sharing services have operational areas nearby.
