The city is diverse and has a well-educated population and excellent schools, making it a good choice for families. Milpitas is home to great shopping, including notable Asian markets and The Great Mall of the Bay Area. While most residents rely on cars to get around, a light rail line opened in 2004, and an extension of BART is planned for the near future. Milpitas is progressive and conveniently located, making it an ideal Bay Area location.
