Welcome to the southern foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama, in the northwest of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.The apartment is located in the center of the lively and typical village of Galapagar. The place is surrounded by green and varied nature.Daily life in the community can be easily managed on foot (for example, about 5 minutes walk to the central square). A very well-stocked supermarket is about 150 m from the apartment. Pharmacies, cafes, bars and restaurants are nearby.The connection to Madrid’s public transport network (bus stops about 150 m away) makes the place an ideal starting point for various activities. Trips to the center of Madrid for leisure, sightseeing or business appointments are easily possible (approx. 30 min to Moncloa). The nearby Sierra de Guadarrama National Park offers great opportunities for extended mountain hikes, excursions to typical mountain communities or skiing in winter. The famous town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is only about 11 km to the west.
