The Braunschweiggasse station of the U4 subway line, which runs through the entire 13th district, is a three-minute walk away and brings you swiftly to Vienna's city center. Various streetcars and bus lines also ensure great public connections.

Especially the connection to the Austrian Imperial Palace makes the 13th district something very special. Here you will find two of Vienna's most famous sights: Schönbrunn Palace with its impressive palace garden and Schönbrunn Zoo.

Our beloved Schönbrunn Zoo has been named one of Europe's leading zoological gardens five times and is worth a visit for young and old alike. The 13th district encloses extensive green areas and also parts of the Vienna Woods in which the Lainzer Zoo is located, the former hunting ground of the Habsburgs. Today this area is a spacious nature resort with various animals and plants. Furthermore, the Hermes Villa, the palace of the famous Austrian Empress Elisabeth (Sissi), is located there.
