This lovely house has a perfect location, close to the city centre, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Enjoy the outdoors with Homestead Park which is great for children and is less than a 5 minutes walk. Walk down by the river to find leafy Museum Gardens with it's ancient 11th century abby ruins inside. Wander down Bootham on route to the city centre, with its grand Georgian terraced houses, independent shops and cafes. You can find stylish tea shops, cheery pubs, and cosy restaurants serving tapas or curry in this vibrant neighbourhood.There is a bus stop just 5 min away on Clifton Road. Furthermore, York Train station is a 15 minute walk from the house along the River Ouse. Getting around is easiest on foot and you can leave your car parked in the driveway. Taxis from the train station take about 10 minutes.
