LocationThe holiday apartment is located in the well-serviced neighbourhood of Viganello in Lugano. Several restaurants like a fast-food restaurant, a pizzeria, a bar and a pub are located just next door. A supermarket is also within a 2-minutes walking distance for a carefree, self-catered stay.On Monte Brè, (the funicular is just a short 4-minutes drive) you can enjoy trekking, sunny terraced restaurants and even visit the picturesque lakeside village of Gandria on your way back. For active vacations, Lugano boasts almost 300 km of cyclable paths to enjoy as well as the Sentiero dell’ Olivo hiking trail.Guests can also visit the Swiss Miniatur attraction, the Museum dedicated to the famous writer Herman Hesse and the San Salvatore funicular within a short 20-minutes drive from the holiday apartment. Other amazing towns on Lake Lugano that are perfect for day trips are within a 30-45 minutes drive away; these are Locarno with its famous Madonna del Sasso, Bellinzona with the magical castles and the quiet yet beautiful village of Mendrisio.
