Bright apartment with terrace and furnished in contemporary style. It is characterised by warm and colourful spaces, for a joyful and cosy atmosphere. It is located in the heart of Palermo, a few steps away from Piazza Politeama and Teatro Massimo, one of the biggest opera houses in Europe.
Casa Nica is a bright studio apartment situated on the second floor, easily reachable with lift, with an elegant mezzanine floor with wood flooring and open wooden beams, typical of liberty-style buildings from the 20th century. The beautiful historic context where the flat is located perfectly matches the distinctive internal design and the local handicraft coming from Palermo’s artisanal boutiques, where tradition and design meet and bring back to life items from the past, such as the unique coat hangers furnishing the apartment. Our guests will find a queen-sized bed in the romantic mezzanine, a sofa bed in the colourful living room and a full bathroom with shower. From the balcony that is accessible through the living area and the kitchen, our guests can enjoy looking at the typical workshops of Via Scimonelli, a quiet street of the city centre.
TV and air conditioning for hotter days in Palermo complete the property.
* The house is not equipped with central heating, but with a single heat pump.
Our apartment is located in a central area of Palermo, full of shops and connections with buses to move around or to get to the popular beach of Mondello. Piazza Politeama and Teatro Massimo are at 15 minutes walking distance, while Castello della Zisa and Villa Malfitano only 10. Furthermore, it will take only a few minutes to get to Cantieri Culturali della Zisa, a reference point for cultural events, and the elegant Villino Florio.
A few steps away from the apartment there is the train station Palermo Lolli, perfect for travelling to the central station of the city. You will also find the bus stops of the transfers from/to the airport. Before your arrival we will send you more information on places to go, what to see and taste. Please do not hesitate to ask!
