In this apartment, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Ruhr area. The orientation of the apartment is southwest so you can enjoy spectacular sunsets.

Even when working at your desk or lying in bed you will enjoy the wonderful view.

The apartment is located on the 21st floor of the former Maritim Residence.

Next to the residence building is the former Maritim Hotel which now belongs to the Plaza Group. Here you can book breakfast and if the pandemic situation allows it, you can also use the swimming pool and sauna.

The apartment has a bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, and a large mirror.

In the entrance area of the apartment, there is a large wall bar with Gardarobenstange.

In the kitchenette, there is a refrigerator with an icebox. Bags for making ice cubes are in the kitchen cabinet. Above the refrigerator, there are two hotplates. Cooking pots and pans are provided, as well as dishes and cutlery. A microwave and a Nespresso machine complete the functional kitchenette.

A desk with a comfortable office chair is available in the work area. Internet connection is available via LTE router in the property with unlimited data.

In the living area, a comfortable two-seater couch awaits you. The two leather swivel chairs are original from 1978 and had their former life in the council chamber of the city of Essen. Here you can relax, read, watch TV or follow your favorite series by means of streaming services such as Amazon Prime or Netflix.

A highlight is the waterbed with two separate water cores. You can preset these to your desired temperature and have it so flasuchig warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer in bed. Even from the bed you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Ruhr area.

Two folding chairs with seat cushions are available for the balcony. Here you can enjoy the sunset with a shared bottle of wine.
