New Flat in downtown of Dortmund

Feel at home in my freshly renovated and lovingly furnished apartment right in the Dortmunder Hafen City. The high ceilings in connection with the large windows bring the charm of the old building back to life. The apartment is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. You can reach both the Dortmund main station and the pedestrian zone in a few minutes on foot or with the nearby tram. You can park for free and check in anytime without stress. Your apartment is on the 2nd floor of a freshly renovated old building. During the recent renovation, all stylistic elements were retained and brought back to life. The high ceilings and large windows in combination with the modern furnishings create a wonderful atmosphere in which you can feel right at home.

As already mentioned, the house in which your apartment is located has just been renovated and you are one of my first guests. It is therefore possible that there may be minor work in the other apartments during the day. It is very important to me that you can enjoy an undisturbed stay full of privacy. That's why it's so important to me that the work is done as inconspicuously as possible. Should I not be able to do this in exceptional cases, I ask for your understanding.

The entire house has been refurbished and renovated according to the high standard of comfort. In addition to the modern and loving furnishings, there is also underfloor heating throughout the apartment. With an individual control system, you have the option of heating every room to the perfect temperature for you.
Your apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to take care of yourself during your stay. It is very important to me that you, as my guest, can feel at home. In order for this to succeed, you will find vinegar and oil as well as salt and pepper for cooking in the kitchen. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with a variety of useful appliances. In addition to the basic equipment such as pots, pans and sharp knives, this also includes a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a Nespresso capsule machine. There is also a wide selection of tea and different types of coffee available for the duration of your stay. Enjoy your meal or a nice evening of games at the dining table, which offers enough space for up to 6 people. If you need more places at the dining table, you can extend the table further and thus create more space at the table. Another highlight in this room is the comfortable sofa with a large UHD TV. The usual streaming services (Netflix and Zattoo) are available to you free of charge during your stay. The TV has all common connections and can therefore, in addition to streaming, also serve as an extended monitor for your PC or can be used to use a console. If you prefer to surf at high speed, you can also use my free WiFi access. The sofa can be converted into a sofa bed if required. This then offers space for two more people.

My personal highlight of the living room is the cozy reading corner. With its angled cut and large window front, this offers the perfect place to retreat and relax after a long and tiring day. The reading corner is furnished with a comfortable wing chair and stool and is my absolute favorite place in the apartment. Another special feature of the reading corner is the genuinely antique and painstakingly restored lamp in the "industrial style". It provides a cozy light, which is ideal for reading and relaxing. In the reading corner you will also find a small selection of my books that have accumulated there over the years. You are of course cordially invited to browse through my collection and maybe discover a new book for yourself.

The entire apartment was also furnished by a regional artist with high-quality and individual pieces. These give the apartment a very special homely atmosphere. The pictures are all originals and mostly painstakingly painted on canvas in many hours of work with oil paints. These properties give the colors of the images a great "radiance" and cannot keep up with conventional color prints.

The apartment has two spacious bedrooms and thus creates enough space for a lot of privacy. The first bedroom you will find a large double bed. With dimensions of 160x200 meters, the bed is the perfect size to relax after a long day. Of course, optimal relaxation at night is also taken care of. The special thing about this bed is the large boxspring mattress, which is notas with most beds, consists of two mattresses but one. This property creates a special sleeping experience. In this bedroom you will also find a large wardrobe and a suitcase bench. You are therefore free to choose whether you would rather live out of a suitcase or store your clothes in the spacious wardrobe. In addition to a selection of different sized compartments, the wardrobe also offers a clothes rail with a large number of hangers. You will also find an ironing board, an iron and a first aid kit in the closet. Next to the wardrobe you will find a large desk with a very comfortable chair. The desk is located just below the large window in the bedroom. The plenty of daylight creates an optimal working atmosphere.

In the second bedroom you will find two single beds, each with a 90x200m high quality box spring mattress. If you prefer a double bed, you can easily connect the two single beds to form a double bed using a hook system. In addition, seasonally adapted blankets and sufficient pillows are always available. The bedroom has a large window which provides the room with enough light during the day. If you want to sleep longer, you have the option of closing the window with a floor-length, blackout curtain.
This bedroom also has a large, spacious mirrored wardrobe, which offers the opportunity to store your clothes neatly and safely during your stay. You also have the option of storing your clothes in the different sized compartments of the closet. If you prefer to live out of your suitcase, there is a suitcase bench next to the wardrobe on which you can conveniently store your suitcase.

The bathroom is also equipped with a floor-level shower with a luxurious rain shower and a normal shower. Hand soap, hair shampoo and shower gel are also available free of charge. In the bathroom you will also find a large illuminated LED mirror and a hair dryer. During your entire stay I will of course provide you with enough towels and bath mats.
