With the bike you roll within 3 min to the Isar without having to pedal once :-) You can choose which side of the mountain you take. Either you end up directly in the Glockenbachviertel (Reichenbach Brücke) or at the quieter Isar section at the Wittelsbacher Brücke.

Very good public transportation:
2 minutes walk to two streetcar lines (line 18 and 25) and
5 minutes to two subway lines (U1 Kolumbusplatz and U2 Silberhornstr), which conveniently connect Glockenbach, Hauptbahnhof, Maxvorstadt and Schwabing.
