Penthouse with huge terrace & view into the green

On your arrival you will find everything you need to arrive comfortably and you will find furnishing/utensils to ensure you are perfectly equipped for longer periods.

The apartment is perfect for working people (singles or couples), vacationers and families with max. 1 child.

Everything has been lovingly furnished to make you feel at home and make your stay special. Cleanliness is a matter of course for us.

The apartment is spacious and also offers places to retreat and work. There are 85 square meters of living space and the terrace offers additional space to relax. The apartment is equipped with higher standard: (Under)floor heating, walk-in shower and electric shutters/jalousies.

There is a bedroom with a double bed for 2 guests. There is also space for a small child for whom a separate travel bed including changing facilities and a high chair are available.

In the study/3rd room there is a work area, a dressing room and a sofa bed (pull-out). However, the sofa bed is not suitable for permanent sleeping for several days / weeks.

The connection is perfect! You will find all shopping facilities (supermarket, bakery etc.) within walking distance (5-10 min.) from the accommodation. The highway is 3 minutes away and you can get everywhere quickly: Heidelberg (approx. 20 min), Frankfurt (45 min) and it takes 30+ min to the Rhineland-Palatine (the Toskana of Germany) - depending on the location you want to visit.

Public transportation is also perfect. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Mannheim main station (to get to the bigger cities) or Mannheim city center, and about 1 hour to Heidelberg.

You can reach the forest for relaxing (jogging and walking) via crossing the road (2 min.).
The animal enclosure is about 10 minutes away.

The apartment building (3 apartments in total) is located in a residential area with sufficient parking for free in front of the house, for example on the opposite side of the street (public road) and surrounding. Parking on our parking lots on the property is not possible due to lack of space.
Those who bring or wish to purchase bicycles can lock them next to the house on a barrier bar.

Access to the house and the respective apartments is via a separate staircase, meaning each apartment within the house is for itself lockable. Two of the total of 3 apartments are occupied by us (hosts), so ground floor and 1st floor. You own the top floor.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT WE RAISE OUR TWO CHILDREN IN THE HOUSE (6 years and 1 year old). WE ALSO HAVE A SMALL, NON-SHEDDING DOG (MAGGIE) OF THE MALTIPOO BREED (MALTESE POODLE MIX)*.

The garden usage is not possible.

As we as hosts also live in two other apartments in the house, this is of course great for you as we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

This includes official matters, tips on public transport, leisure activities and good recommendations for eating out (restaurants). We also provide all of this in printed form in the apartment.

The accommodation may not be used for events, parties or similar. Frequently changing visitors (in & out) are undesirable, as are unannounced guests for overnight stays.

Smoking is only permitted outside (on the terrace).

Pets must be agreed with us in advance.

***PLEASE NOTE***
Due to the new regulation from 05.10.2021 "on the prohibition of misappropriation of living space" in the city of Mannheim, we prefer guests who stay for a longer period of time AND register (f.e. as a second residence) or re-register at the address of our accommodation. *This is mandatory for the booking.*
Do not be afraid of the procedure, it is easy and takes some minutes. We will issue you with a landlord's confirmation paper and send it/give it to you personally so that you can complete the registration/re-registration in the first few days after moving in. Registration at one of the two nearby citizens' offices (5 minute walk) is quick and free of charge. Information on this can be found on the website of the city of Mannheim, of course we are also happy to help.
