It is home to beautiful old building which have been renovated one by one and this building’s renovation as certainly added value to the Highstreet. The praças and esplanadas, the river view miradouro; the Moorish Castle, and the ever-present river Tejo you can see at its fully splendour, artistically named Mar da Prata in this part of town, due to the unique silver glow it showcases on sunny days..
