Praga North is the only old part of Warsaw which survived from the World War II bombings, and is now becoming the new hot spot for young generations, who see great potential in this district. Not elsewhere in Warsaw, but in Praga North, the highest number of bars and galleries are being opened nowadays. Also, many famous movies about World War II were shot in this area (for example The Pianist). Just 10 minutes away there is river public beach with beach volleyball and open-air disco, and a free river-tram during summer season. There is also a ZOO, first opened in 1928, with over 500 species of animals, just 10 mins away (be prepared for a 1-day tour, as the ZOO is very big). There are also nearby shops/supermarkets and even a mall and 24-hour liqueur stores.
Bus/tram stop is outside of the house, it takes 10 min to Old Town (by walk 20 min). Free parking space outside of the building. Veturilo (city rental bikes) station also just outside of the building. Metro station "Warsaw Wilenska" is 5 min walk away and Warsaw East (railway station) is 10 min by bus.
