New Apartment for Rent- Gunja Station

  • Price: 1,000,000 / Month
  • Bedrooms: 2
  • Size: 82 m² / 883 ft²
  • Address: 241-2, Apt. 401, Gwangjin Gu, Junggok Dong, Seoul, South Korea

Airy apartment available right now for rent. It's currently empty, so if you decide to take it, you can move in immediately. It is unfurnished.

The apartment is a little over a year old. It has two bedrooms, one a little larger than the other, with a spacious living room/kitchen area. The kitchen has ample counterspace and cabinet space, if you enjoy cooking, and no metal countertops! There are giant windows on three sides of the apartment, allowing a lot of light, and when it's warmer, fresh air. Not to mention, it has a great view of Achasan from the living room window.

It's perfect for a couple or roommates, however, it is not full option and only comes with a gas range. However, there is a hook-up and everything ready for a washing machine and air conditioner. Also, there are hook-ups for cable/internet in each room and the living room. If you have a car, there is also a small parking area next to the building. And pets are allowed. Most of the other tenants in the building are newly-weds or young families.

The price is 10 million won key money and 1 million won rent, however, the landlord should be willing to negotiate if you have more key money. The initial price was 15 million won key money and 900,000 won rent. And the landlord respects your privacy. In the year and four months I lived there, I saw him maybe three times in the hallway.

The apartment is located near Gunja Station (line 5 and 7) and Junggok Station (line 7) and is about a 15-20 minute bus ride from the Konkuk University area, and a 10-15 minute bus ride from Children's Grand Park/Sejong University, depending on traffic. Also, there is a large traditional market located right next to the apartment building, along with a Kim's Club and an assortment of small, family owned restaurants. There is a Costco in Sangbong, about a 15-20 minute subway ride away on Line 7.

If you want to view the apartment, contact me and I will put you in touch with one of the agents that have it listed. There is nothing wrong with the apartment, I just couldn't afford it alone and decided I'd rather not have roommates anymore. (I had bad luck...)

Also, please only respond if you are serious about signing a one or two year contract. I really need to get my deposit money back and the landlord will not do so until someone signs a housing contract and moves in.
