2-bedroom furnished apartment near Duesseldorf and Wuppertal - €700 (Monthly)

We've moved to the US for at least a few years and would like to rent our fully furnished apartment in Vohwinkel (suburb of Wuppertal).

Available December 1, 2009 (short-term or long-term lease):

SIZE and FURNISHINGS

76 square meters

3 rooms - meaning 2 bedrooms, living area, large kitchen, bathroom. Master bedroom has a very comfy huge bed, large closets, dresser. Second bedroom is set up as an office (with great view of the valley below), also has a bed, so could be used as a children's or guest bedroom. Kitchen has dishwasher, tons of counterspace, cabinets, appliances, dishes, pots - everything you might need. Living area has dining table that can seat up to four or six (expandable), high-quality TV/DVD and surround sound (6 speakers) stereo system, two beautiful cream-colored Italian leather sofas. Bathroom includes a washing machine and bathtub, new toilet and appliances. Furniture is all high-quality, very solid wood, Hülsta or similar. Floors throughout the apartment are "Parkett" - solid wood.

The balcony has a new wooden floor and beautiful teak furniture, with awesome views (see below)

The apartment could work for one person or for a family of up to three.

We left almost everything other than clothing, favourite books etc. behind. There are lots of English and easy German books for you to read, travel books, maps of German and European cities (all of this could be stored in the basement if you need more space), really everything you need, incl. bedding, towels etc.

GREAT LOCATION

-20 minutes from Düsseldorf
-25 minutes from the airport
-5 minutes from highway A-46
-30 to 45 minutes to Cologne, depending on traffic
-a 2-minute walk from Edeka (grocery store) and bakery
-a 2-minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to the Wuppertal Schwebebahn and downtown Vohwinkel (5 minutes away by bus), where you can also access the S-Bahn that takes you to Düsseldorf in about twenty minutes

-it's very green - lots of beautiful hiking trails, brook etc. that you can access almost from your doorstep

GREAT VIEW

The apartment has an amazing view of the Neandertal (where the Neanderthals were discovered), the surrounding towns, and even Düsseldorf - this is really awesome.
