The cottage has approximately 1,500 m2 of land, which is situated to the side and rear of the cottage. This land is all relatively flat and has a variety of fruit trees and a wide selection of mature grape vines.

The cottage is located within a rural area, on the outskirts of the village of Aguas Férreas. The larger town of Pombal is approximately four km drive from the cottage. The closest airport is Porto, which is approximately 140 kilometres.
